Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Vizsla Connect, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/UK) and able to enter into a binding contract to use Vizsla Connect. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.

3. The service

Vizsla Connect is a community app that helps Vizsla owners connect, share dog-friendly fields, and arrange playdates. We provide the platform; any meetup, playdate, or in-person activity is between you and the other owner at your own risk.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos, text, and field information you upload. By posting content, you grant Vizsla Connect a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it within the service.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or sexually solicit other users.
• Post content that is illegal, hateful, deceptive, or infringing.
• Upload photos of children without parental consent.
• Drop fake or malicious field pins, or pins on private property without permission.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service.
• Use the app for commercial promotion without our written permission (see the upcoming sponsored-pins program).

We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Field pins

Field pins are community-sourced. We do not verify ownership, access rights, leash laws, or safety conditions of any field. Always check local rules and judge for yourself before letting your dog off-leash.

7. Reporting and safety

If you encounter abusive behavior, illegal content, or a safety concern, use the in-app report tools or email hello@vizslaconnect.com. We aim to review reports within 72 hours.

8. Paid features

Some features (such as the ad-free upgrade or sponsored business pins) are paid. Payments are processed by Stripe. One-time purchases are non-refundable except where required by law. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to other users.

10. Disclaimers

Vizsla Connect is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or safe. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Vizsla Connect is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or from any meetup or interaction with other users.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
