• Account & Profile Information: Email address, hashed password, owner name, profile photos, and optional bio details.
• Dog Profiles: Dog name, age, "velcro factor", and optional details you choose to share.
• Location Data: Country, state/region, and city selected during onboarding, alongside geographical coordinates for field or meetup pins you intentionally create on the map.
• Community Content: Direct messages sent to other users, event RSVPs, group chat messages, field comments, custom votes, and media uploaded to community sections like "The Goof Vault."
• Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and anonymous usage events (page views, taps) for analytics, optimization, and abuse prevention.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate, maintain, and secure core features (discovery, secure messaging, map pins, and group coordination).
• To display relevant nearby owners, local packs, and scheduled meetups based on your selected region.
• To protect our community from spam, fraud, and abuse.
• To deliver transactional communications (password resets, account notices).
• To support our marketplace features, including routing users to vetted third-party vendors and tracking merchant commissions.
• To process optional premium upgrades via secure, industry-standard third-party payment processors.

4. What Other Users Can See

Your owner name, dog profiles, uploaded photos, bio, selected city/region, created map pins, community comments, and public votes are visible to other signed-in Vizsla Connect users. Your private account credentials (email address and password) are strictly confidential and are never displayed to other users.

5. Third-Party Service Providers & Partners

We share data with a limited number of trusted service providers necessary to run our platform, categorized below:

• Infrastructure & Hosting: Secure cloud hosting, database management, and content delivery networks.
• Mapping Services: Third-party mapping solutions used to generate location tiles and search addresses.
• Payment Processing: All financial transactions are handled securely by PCI-compliant third-party payment gateways. We do not store financial account numbers on our servers.
• Affiliate & Merchant Networks: We participate in affiliate advertising programs. When you click links to our "Trusted Partners" (such as pet food, health, or gear suppliers), third-party networks utilize tracking cookies to manage commercial attribution and commissions.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile details, photos, and messages are permanently removed from our active databases within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain transaction records.
